Meet Sadra
My name is Sadra Nasseri, and I am running for the position of YRDSB Trustee for Richmond Hill Ward’s 1, 2, and 4 in the upcoming July 15th By-Election.
Having resided in Richmond Hill for nearly a decade and graduating from Alexander Mackenzie High School, I've been deeply involved in our community. Over the years, I've dedicated my time to various organisations, including the Richmond Hill Soccer Club, Richmond Hill Group of Artists, and the Richmond Hill Winter Carnival. Currently, I work in the sports industry as a Youth Soccer Coach.
In 2022, I had the privilege of being appointed by the Richmond Hill City Council to serve on the Richmond Hill Public Library Board (RHPL). Within this role, I hold positions as the Chair of the Finance Committee and the Vice Chair of the Library Governance Committee. Serving on the RHPL Board has been a profound honour, and every moment has been cherished.
My candidacy is based on the belief that Richmond Hill deserves a dedicated school trustee who can commit full-time hours to the role. Drawing upon my experience representing the residents of Richmond Hill, I am committed to shaping the educational landscape and ensuring that students have access to the quality education and resources they need to thrive.
